Kevin Yong is a graduate from the University of Hertfordshire UK with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. He also spent a good 3 years of early Tertiary education in Murdoch University Perth. Previously a Branch Manager with a Toshiba Notebook distributor, Kevin comes with over 5 years of Sales and Marketing experience before he joined a Global Executive Search firm, Management Recruiters International in 2003.
Over the early years of his Executive Search experience, he has developed excellent working relationship with his client base which consists of Multinational and Local Conglomerate Clients. Very consistent with his processes and methodologies not just in identifying suitable candidates, also in providing a proactive solution to other HR issues. He subsequently joined Solomann Consulting; a Hong Kong based Search Firm in 2005 as the Regional Principal Consultant catering to regional search in ASEAN countries.
In 2006, Kevin joined Optimus Consulting a new start up as the Principal Consultant where he specializes in the recruitment of Management level Talents in a broad range of industry ie Automotive, FMCG, Telecommunication and Property Construction and Development segments. Thoroughly enjoys his role for the last 4 years, he aims to develop Optimus Consulting into a preferred and recognizable Boutique Search Firm in this region through a policy of ensuring prompt and effective Deliverables against our Clients' expectations.
Richarde Edwards Churme graduated with a Degree in Business Administration from ICM, UK and a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering (ADSL), India at the prestigious NIIT Centre. With over 20years in a Sales and Marketing role with Shell, International Conferences for Management (ICM,UK), NIIT, FranklinCovey Organization Services, and as Sales Director(APAC) for Emeritis (SAP Partner Belgium), he embarked onto a career in Executive Search to take advantage of his senior network in Asia, Europe and EMEA.
He started his career with the global executive search firm MRI (Management Recruiters International) and went on to work for KPMG's LLP practice based out of New York in Malaysia. Driven by the processes, methodologies, and a proactive solution to Human Resources issues in the areas of Performance Development, Change and Succession Planning, he has indeed added value to his already successful headhunting practice.
Having served the Asia region in a different capacity, Richarde joined Kevin at Optimus Consulting as its Managing Consultant, Asia to cater to the Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing, Energy sectors and some niche roles in Legal Services. Both he and Kevin look to develop Optimus Consulting into a preferred and recognizable Boutique Search Firm in this region through a policy of ensuring prompt and effective Deliverables against our Clients' expectations.
